‘A Homage to Nonna’s House’ is a nostalgic and surreal installation of works inspired by the aesthetics of my grandparents’ house and the memories made there. Designed by Nonna and Nonno and built in the 60’s, the house was filled with mid-century furniture, ceramics, amongst the paintings, sculptures and silver jewellery made by my grandfather, Nonno. It encouraged curiosity and was a playground for us as kids, full of tactile objects, toys and games. It was where the root for my passion to become an artist came from, my admiration for art and design and to live with beautiful objects in a carefully curated home just as they did.
